Cinnamon Roll Recipe

Good Morning Dreamers!
Yesterday, my friend Tyler who is a coffee + food connoisseur made cinnamon rolls. (check out his blog) he was kind enough to let me share his recipe. There is nothing more comforting than a gooey cinnamon roll. Making fresh dough with cloves, cinnamon, and immense amounts of butter is the best dessert when you're wanting to treat yourself.

1 C. Scalded Milk
2 T. Shortening
1 Pkg. Yeast
1 t. salt
1 egg, well beaten
3 1/2 C. flour
1 C. Water
1 t. sugar

Add shortening to milk and scald. Then mix the yeast and water together; add to cooled milk. Add remaining ingredients and mix. Knead. Let raise till double in bulk. Fill with butter cinnamon, brown sugar, and clove. Let raise again, Bake at 350 degrees until brown. Mix powdered sugar and milk until desired texture as glaze.
