Good Morning Dreamers,
Today I wanted to share with you some details of my loft! It slowly is coming together and feeling more like home. I hope this gives you some inspiration for your space. Have a lovely day.
Le Bon Macaron is one of my favorite places in Grand Rapids thus far! I've always loved these tiny almond cookies, so when I discovered this shop I was in love. Each marble table even had fresh flowers. It was so lovely! The staff were so kind and even allowed me to snap a few pictures. As I struggle to adjust to living in a new city things like this cheer me up immensely. I highly suggest trying one of these cookies if your in the area; you will not regret it.
First off how cool is this tunnel? Anyhow, I'm offically living in Grand Rapids! I didn't realize how difficult it would be to adjust to living in a new city. Starting over has been so difficult. Thank God for technology. Skype calls and phone calls have helped immensely. Being honest, I've had several melt downs and been very homesick. Change is hard. However, God is always with me wherever I go. How comforting is that? Getting out of my comfort zone has really forced me to rely on my creator in all situations. He will guide you! Please keep my in your prayers as I dive into this next chapter of life.
I hope you're having a lovely day. Today I wanted to share with you my two essentials. This dreamy dress + darling bracelet. Flowy dresses are a wardrobe staple of mine. I love that I can wear them in the summer with a pair of sandals, or layer them with tights and chunky sweaters in the fall and winter. Free people has the most adorable dresses and I definitely think it's worth the splurge. I found this mini dress on major clearence the other day and I am just ecstatic! I love the concept of the live lokai bracelet. My friend Jacquelyn gave it to me as a going away gift; isn't she so sweet? We both have matching ones. I've worn it every day since she has given it to me and just adore it! Lokai supports several charities so your not only getting jewelry but you are supporting a great cause.
Watching your car leave my driveway was heart-rending, however I have felicity knowing that this friendship isn't ending despite living in different cities. Having a best friend is so special and I thank God that he has given me you. I love that you know me deeply, the good and the bad. I love that we have the same sense of humor and that no one else understands it. I love how honest you are. If you don't like my outfit you will tell me. I love that our style is so vastly different, I find it amusing. I love how spontaneous you are and that I can show up at your house without telling you. I love that we call each other every night and gush over anything. I love that we share our devotions with each other and what we are learning in our relationship with God. I love your heart for children. You serve and love them abundantly. I love our late night taco bell runs. I love that you put up with my obnoxious comments during movies. I love that we have different music taste and that I make fun of your bands. Even though I said I hated going to that concert with you it actually was one of my favorite things. I love that you pushed through a bunch of people and got us to the front. I love that your makeup and hair always look great and that you always do my hair for school dances. I love that I can tell you everything even the super awkward things. I love that our birthdays are three days apart. I love our late night grocery store runs. When you push me in the shopping cart. I love that you are you. You don't try to conform to what other people are doing. I love that God gave me you as a best friend.
Feel free to share this with a best friend you can relate this too.
Today I am collaborating with Dress Linkto share my summer favorites!
The amazing thing about Dress Link is their clothing is so inexpensive! They are constantly adding new pieces to their website. Make sure to read the reviews and sizing before purchasing. I highly suggest checking this website out when your in the mood to online shop. I've literally been on this website for the past few days; no joke! Have fun browsing.
These past weeks have been spent packing up all of my things; goodness has it been bittersweet! It's so easy for myself to forget how blessed I am and what amazing people are in my life. I have so many leaders, friends, and family who have poured into my life. I even started crying when I looked in the empty sanctuary at my church. Thankfully I will only be three hours away. Although new beginning are excited they also can be scary! I literally have a clean slate! I don't know what church I will be going to, what friends I will make, or even where the closest coffee shop is. However I do know one thing. My Creator is with me wherever I go. I'm trusting in his guidance to lead me in every aspect of my life. Grand Rapids look out!
